Whale Resurrection

It is peak Humpback Whale season here on Maui.  Thousands of whales are gracing us and our waters with their presence, as they perform their yearly ritual of mating, giving birth and singing their song to Mother Earth before heading back to Alaska.  Saturday, 2/19, is the annual Whale Day Festival and a good time to celebrate that the protection and love given in recent years to the humpbacks has brought them back from the brink of extinction to healthy numbers in Hawaii once again.

There certainly remains much to do to regain ecological balance and healing of our Earth.  Let this cheerful whale tale (and tail!) remind us that it can easily happen with a little Unity and well wishing.
