magnolia moon

This steaming crater in Volcano National Park on the Big Island holds the energy of birth and death that is so active in our world at this time.  These next couple of years will continue to present us with this theme in an intense, ongoing way.  As death and birth are two sides of the same coin, it is understandable that as we now go through the actual ascension process, there is much that must die….transition….be reborn.  Today is the Full Moon in Scorpio:  a potent time to consider what is ready to die in our life and in our world, and what is calling to be born in your life and in our world.

The Magnolia flower brings vibrational support for the processes of birth and death.  This Full Moon is also the Wesak Moon, a time to honor Buddha and the Divine Masculine Energy.  I found this particular Magnolia blooming on a tree at the Ali’i Kula Lavender Farm up on Haleakala on Maui.  This wonderful place was created and lovingly tended by a beautiful man named Ali’i.  He transitioned suddenly from his earthly body earlier this month at his home on the farm.   Thank you Ali’i for the legacy of light and divine male essence you left us!

Take a few moments, if you will, to gaze at the face of this huge blossom. (He is as large as a dinner plate.)  Feel its pure potential enter into you to support whatever birth and death processes are underway within you….Imagine the intoxicating scent smoothing out the rough edges of your transmutation and inspiring you to become all that you may be.
