Flow to Beached Treasure

Madison CT marsh

The herons have gone South, but there are ducks resting in the warmth of afternoon sun among the grasses, as the waters of the marsh turn and flow with the outgoing tide.

Madison, CT shorelineThe water courses out, responding to messages from the Moon, carving beautiful formations in the sand, colored with rich silt from the marsh on its path back to into the arms of the Long Island Sound.  Steep ridges hint at storms of the recent past, but today, everything flows on a gentle tide.

Here the outgoing melds with the incoming, swelling up from the Sound onto Mother Earth’s shore…feel her gentle rhythms soothe away…wash away all that is ready for release on the heels of the solar eclipse and in this Mercury retrograde time of rehashing, resorting and reconsidering….as the tide pulls us irrevocably  toward the end of 2011…let the treasures that the ocean has offered to Earth inspire us to dream of 2012….seashells & seaweed, W Wharf Beach In Lak’ech*   –   Denine
